Award winning Choctaw artist Robert Kaniatobe created this 3-strand necklace of hand-carved bone and ivory fetishes (3000 year old) and glass beads (circa 1990). Robert was world-reknowned for his handmade necklaces, because of his chubby creatures with personality, and the glass beads he incorporated from all over the world, and always finished with handmade brass cones and hook and eyes. His unique creations are in collections all over the world. This significant necklace begins with handmade links creating a braided chain. The chain measures approximately 25 1/2" from handmade hook to eye. The pendant features a Natural Red Mountain Turquoise stone on one side with the "Ghost Spirit" on the reverse (a special enamel a process of photoluminescence Alvarez does himself) that glows in the dark.
