Stunning work and gorgeous design and stones create a mosaic so perfect to seem like a painting. Blue fiery opals rise above the flush inlay or peek out from the eyes of the Navajo Yei, centered in a burst of sunrays. Unique and wonderful. Bracelet measures 7 1/4" long by 1" at the widest.

Hopi Pueblo artist Brian Smith (First Mesa) created this "Morning Singer" Kachina. The Kachina is 9 1/2" in height by 2 1/2" wide by 2" deep. The Morning Singer Kachina represents dawn and early morning. The kachina appears at dawn during the Bean Dance (Powamuya) to announce news and sing songs to wake the village. The Kachina also passes out bean sprouts for people to eat.

Hopi Pueblo artist Brian Smith (First Mesa) created this "Butterfly Maiden" Kachina. The Kachina is 10 1/2" in height by 2 7/8" wide by 2 1/2" deep. The Hopi Butterfly Maiden is a spirit being, or kachina, in Hopi mythology. She pollinates flowers and fields in the spring, and brings rain to the desert. She is also a role model for Hopi girls, teaching them the values of Hopi society. The Hopi butterfly symbol represents change and balance.
