This bolo was made in Vernon Haskie beginning days of silversmithing proving that was was bound for greatness. Circa 1990's Pendant with chain by Zuni couple Nancy and Ruddell Laconsello. Married couple, Nancy and Ruddell Laconsello of Zuni, have worked together since they married in 1976, and are known for their exquisite inlay pieces, featuring especially finely etched and inlaid birds. Ruddell does the silverwork and Nancy does the inlay. Nancy is the daughter of the late Jake Haloo and her sister is Dolly Banteah. She is also related to Dennis Edaakie. Renowned and collected world-wide, they are also featured in Who's Who in Zuni Jewelry, by Gordon Levy. This sterling silver inlaid pendant in the shape of a pot, features a cardinal and flowers, inlaid with coral and mother of pearl and malachite. The pendant measures 1 1/2" by 1 1/2" at the widest, and hangs from a chain that is 8 1/2" on each side, for a length of chain that is 17". Signed RN Laconsella Sterling Zuni
