Truly a one-of-a-kind fetish necklace by the late award-winning Choctaw artist, Robert Kaniatobe. This piece was made at the epitome of his career, in early 1990's, and features the hallmarks of his significant talents. Named "In the Sky Shadows," the four-strand necklace includes fetishes carved from buffalo bone (baby coyote foot, bear, swan, fox, and the horse) and 3,000 to 5,000 year-old walrus ivory (hummingbirds). The beads are ancient Mali clay, ancient hand carved agate, bone, shell, brass, copper, sterling silver, and Bohemian glass (1800's), early molded glass and milk glass (1600's), Chevron (1800's) and sandcast glass. The necklace features four strands and is 28" long.
