Three-strand Fetish Necklace, circa 1970's, by unknown Zuni. Fifty -seven fetishes, including bears, birds, turtles, frogs, and fox handcarved from shells and stones including natural coral, malachite, abilone, jasper, tiger eye and turquoise. Strung on handground olive shell and turquoise heishi. Three strands layer, with the longest strand measuring 32". A beautiful piece.

Zuni artist Tony Luala created this 5-Strand Multi-Color Fetish Necklace. The strands are graduated with a turquoise mountain lion fetish separator at the top. The necklace includes ninety-one fetishes (including the center piece turquoise thunderbird). Other stones include serpentine, mother of pearl, coral, rhodolite, gold lip mother of pearl, jet and pink mussel shell. The longest strand (with the thunderbird) measures 30".

Kenneth Aguilar and Angie Crespin of Santo Domingo Pueblo created this three strand stabilized Kingman Turquoise Jockla Necklace. Gorgeous piece, layered strands lay flat. The longest strand is approximately 24" with the spiny oyster "corn" hanging 1" at longest. The two other strands lay within the longest strand for a beautiful cascade of blue. The heishi is graduated and they've used olive shell heishi spacers across the bottom.

Kenneth Aguilar and Angie Crespin of Santo Domingo Pueblo created this awesome ten strand tiny wafer necklace of spiny oyster, interspersed with turquoise. Beautifully matched rare deep purple spiny oyster is painstakingly shaped into thin wafers, along with pastel yellow and turquoise, some in heishi, some little nuggets, some also in thin wafers. The necklace measures 29" long including a 2 1/2" extender.

The turquoise is separated by olive shell heishi and is graduated from 1/16" in diameter to 3/8". The necklace measures 27" plus a 4" extender. Hand-ground to satiny smoothness, this necklace is another work of their skill and artistry, perfectly fluid and wonderful. Unknown Santo Domingo Pueblo artist created this circa 1980's 10-strand multi-color heishi jocla necklace. The necklace is 26 1/2" in length (including the 4 1/2" chain), and features melon shell, jet, red coral and stabilized turquoise heishi. The "jocla" hangs down 3 1/2", including the 1/2" depth of the disc. The disc is actually three discs: two of jet, one of turquoise, one of melon shell.

Zuni Pueblo artist Quinton Quam created this very unusual and wonderful reversible link bracelet. Eight individual discs are inlaid on both sides, for a total of 15 birds and one butterfly encircling the wrist. Each disc measures approximately 3/4" in diameter. The link bracelet is 3/4" wide by 9 1/2" in length (including the finishing of lobster clasp and 3 rings for adjustable length). The links are: Eagle and Hummingbird, Flamingo and flying Bluejay, Raven and Snowy Owl, Oriole and Butterfly, Hummingbird and Bluebird, Gambel Quail and Red-headed Woodpecker, Cardinal and Bluejay, and Redbird with Roadrunner. The material Quinton used is all natural turquoise, red coral, mother-of-pearl, jet, lapid, spiny oyster, abalone, and Pacific coral.
